Sicilian language and culture

Some Sicilian proverbs (CLICK)

I am hoping to start studying Sicilian language and would welcome any contributions on the subject.

A dictionary of Sicilian to English.

Most words - and this is one of the main difficulties with learning Sicilian, I find - are clearly based on the Italian equivalent. Perhaps this relationship is the other way around. E.g.  bagnu
= bagno = bath, brazzu = braccio = arm, etc.

Sicilian popular music played on a flute made from rushes by the player.
