I write poetry too. Nice poem on unemployment. What do you think of Sicily in terms of chauvinism?Don't you think that this unemployment in Sicily might be worse among women?Do you think that the lack of importance of young people might be on the contrary, the cause of our economic problems and not the other way round?Maybe the lack of importance of women affect our economy too, like it just happens in Muslim countries. I just think the mentality is the problem and even if it is changing ,it's not fast enough.

hi sorry not to reply sooner, your question is not trivial. I think I would have a better understanding of chauvinism in sicily or anywhere, for that matter, if i was a woman. for the rest, I think it's a case of chicken and egg...all the best

Later attempts concentrated on features such as repetition, verse form and rhyme, and emphasized the aesthetics which distinguish poetry from more objectively-informative, prosaic forms of writing. Thanks.
